Operation:
The drop slot, if given a mechanical drop-in mechanism, can be freed by pressing down the “drop-in arm". With an electronic operation the door opens automatically after identification. Through this slot the cassette or the envelope falls down into the lower part of the safe.
Electronic implementation:
- Bolting and opening with a 12V electric motor
- An anti-vandal keyboard and display
- Identification: Dallas chip, Pin code, Credit card + pin code
- Control of throw-ins: with a BAR code, with RFID (along with a proximity reader)
- Gives a receipt if required
Mechanical implementation, operated via hand:
The drop slot is bolted with a combination lock and can be opened only by an authorized person, i.e. the person who knows the combination. After the bolt has been unlocked, envelopes, cassettes and/or briefcases can be put into the safe.
